Turkmenistan Gas Congress 2014

On behalf of the Organising Committee of the 5th Anniversary International Gas Congress, TGC 2014, we would like to welcome you to Turkmenistan.
For the past five years TGC 2014 has been held annually in Turkmenistan, and this year's event promises to be a highlight of Turkmenistan’s gas industry. TGC 2014’s aim is to underline both the vast potential and varied opportunities for continued development of Turkmenistan’s spectacular natural gas reserves as well as discuss international cooperation and foreign investment.
Turkmenistan's gas industry has seen decades of development, with notable accomplishments achieved in the years of independence. During this time, up-to-date production facilities and infrastructure were built, advanced technology and training introduced, processing and transportation of natural gas accomplished. As a result, each year has witnessed a steady increasing volume of natural and liquefied gas produced.
Turkmenistan plans to increase gas production to 230 billion cubic meters by 2030, and explore new, even more notable gas fields. Galkynysh field has been the most significant natural gas depository discovered in recent years. According to independent assessment it contains 26 trillion 200 billion cubic meters of gas, which makes is one of the most significant gas fields in the world.
The dynamic development of the gas industry of Turkmenistan and its integration into the global energy markets are inextricably linked to the expansion of international cooperation. TurkmenGas, the National Gas Company of the country, is ready to participate in mutually beneficial discussions with the world's leading companies as well as to actively utilise advanced technology and cutting edge research in order to contribute to the growth of the gas industry of Turkmenistan.
TGC 2014 once again will become a significant forum for the leading gas business community and will gather 500 delegates and 50 speakers.
