Turkmenistan has the World’s fourth largest proven reserves of gas (8tcm) behind Russia (47tcm), Iran (27tcm) and Qatar (25tcm). With an ambitious plan for the development of these largely untapped reserves currently gathering momentum, Turkmenistan is set to play an increasingly important role in the global gas industry in years to come. The Turkmenistan Gas Congress, TGC 2010, will bring together the international gas community to discuss the investment opportunities that exist in the development of Turkmenistan’s vast gas reserves and Turkmenistan’s current and future role in the international gas industry.

TGC 2010 is officially organised by Turkmenistan’s National Gas Company, TurkmenGas, with the full support of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Oil & Gas Industry and Mineral Resources.
